| The purpose of this website
is provide detailed information about cliffside, its hazzards, its rules
and protocols, and to comply with Columbia Gorge Aluminum's request that
Cascade Paragliding Club provides them with a listing of members using
the site. These new requirements for cliffside are the following:
• Discontinue using the backside access (Farmhouse area) for access
to the
launching areas.
• Cascade Paragliding Club provide a listing to Columbia Gorge Aluminum
of
members who will be using the site. This list is to be updated annually
by
December 30 of each year.
• Cascade Paragliding Club provide annual training to members who
will be
using the Cliffside Point identifying the location and dangers associated
with the power lines on the Plant property. Provide records of individuals
training to Columbia Gorge Aluminum.
• Provide Columbia Gorge Aluminum with 6 each updated Cliffside
Point site
usage maps which will be posted at key locations. Columbia Gorge will
laminate and post signs as necessary.
• Call Security 509-773-5811-0 prior to flying or entering plant
property.
( One call per day is sufficient)
